Photoshop is an image processing software that is already popular among graphic designers. But do we should use Photoshop for image processing? Is there a freeware image processor that can be an alternative to Photoshop?
There is Windows, and there are Linux as the alternative, as well as GIMP which is the Photoshop alternative.
GIMP is a freeware version of Photoshop.
What is GIMP?
GIMP (GNU Image Manupulation Program) is a program similar to Adobe Photoshop and freeware, of course. In addition to free, GIMP also issued a portable version. So we can copy to a USB Flashdisk or on an external hard drive, then it can run on our friend PC or in the office PC without having to install.
GIMP has three main features that made his popularity rise, which is freeware, open source and multi-platform (available versions of Windows, Mac and Linux). Then equipped with diverse features, like plugins, filters, and brush that can be found on the Internet from supporters of the GIMP community.
You can download GIMP for Windows from

Also the portable version

Later, i give some tips on how to use Photoshop plugin in GIMP.
